Nikko Hertado
Nikko Hertado is my favorite tattoo artist, i just like the work that he does, i didn't know much about him until i checked out his page at http://www.nikkohurtado.com, however i had heard about him, and had seen some of his work while featured on Cat VonDee's T.v. show. I like his hyper realistic values that he adds to his portraits. He works with color, has probably had a lot of practice and was most likly born with a keen talent for photo realistic portraiture. His bio on his page was empty so i couldn't find out much of anything about him except that he is 32 years old, one year older than myself. Below are some of the awsom images he has produced.
Norman Rockwell
Norman Rockwell began painting at the age of 14 in 1910, while in school. He developed his career as an artist at a young age, and also found success at a young age. He was commissioned to complete his  first works for boys life magazine, an early american magazine that sold  issues to the boy scouts of america. Rockwell continued to further his career as an artist and painter, and during the 1930's and 1940's produced some of what was to be considered his most novel work, and some of the most influential works of the time.
Norman Rockwell was a photo realistic painter, as an artist, portrayed early 20th century life in middle america as the subject matter in many of his paintings. The picture that i picked today was a portrait that Norman Rockwell produced of himself, and happens to be one of my favorite works from Rockwell.
Rockwell is one of my favorite artists, i don"t think anyone; can, has, or will, be able to do it like Rockwell did it. He was a master at photo realistic work, which i believe to be the hardest talent to master. He appealed to all social classes, told history in his paintings, and brought the average american into the spotlight through his works.

TATTOOING YOURSELF

   Hi,

I am Justin Dezonia, I am undergraduate student at Crafton Hills Community College. This blog spot is intended specifically for painting 1 class, and this is my first official blogger "homework assignment" . The artist that i am picking today is myself "Mr. Justin David Dezonia" This video content was produced and edited by myself, and the star of the video is also myself. This video content was filmed over the course of 2 years and was the first production that my company D.S.M.D.S.C. (DEZONIA'S SKIN AND MACHINE DESIGN STUDIOS COMPANY) produced. You will be able to find this and other media content located on my website under the sub link: "all dsmdsc media" at www.dsmdsc.com  the work featured in this video was done with natural pigments. The rest of the video is self explanitory.

The elements and principles of design in this video go full circle. This being the first video production i made really opened the doors for new ideas as an artist, and gave me the tools and skills i needed to move forward as an artist. I was able to do the tattoos, video production and photography mainly by myself, editing the video content , applying video graphics and special effects, and even the music soundtrack was a learning experience all on its own.
Even though tattooing the skin is nothing like the art of painting, ink on the skin can produce the same result as paint on a canvas. So enjoy.
Thank You,
Justin Dezonia
